The Operating Engineers of Local
370 and employers can be very proud of Western States Operating Engineers
Institute of Training. In the last few years this program has advanced
to a level where it is very beneficial to all parties. Program material
has been incorporated to truly produce employable apprentices. State
of the art technology is incorporated to benefit journey person upgrades.
Representative equipment has been acquired and renovated to give hands-on
training that provides practical experience.
Employers benefit from higher productivity, safety awareness, and use of new technologies. Members benefit by safety application, sense of pride, and job placement in an ever increasingly competitive marketplace. |
